We have enough

We have enough

Have you ever asked yourself why I don’t have this thing?

I am sure you have done. It’s because the human brain is designed to pursue “ the best “.

There’s a book called “ the soul of Money “ which I was reading this week; in this book, the author pointed to a really interesting fact which we all are ignoring or maybe just pretending that we are different, however, it is what it is. By accepting that we live differently.

“We spend most of the hours and the days of our lives hearing, explaining, complaining, or worrying about what we don’t have enough of. We don’t have enough time. We don’t have enough rest. We don’t have enough exercise. We don’t have enough work. We don’t have enough profits. We don’t have enough power. We don’t have enough wilderness. We don’t have enough weekends. Of course, we don’t have enough money—ever. We’re not thin enough, we’re not smart enough, we’re not pretty enough or fit enough or educated or successful enough, or rich enough—ever.”

After reading this I realized, although I knew all those stuff, I had forgotten them.

At every level of our life, we are facing different challenges and difficulties and by accomplishing them we are expecting a kind of relief but it’s not gonna happen. We just passed an exam, and always there will be a next level no matter where you are now, problems are chasing you.

There is always another mountain to climb, and the game never ends. As you keep playing you realize that there are so many more of the levels than you thought. And the beauty of the game is not the things that the game gives you, the beauty of the game is that, you get to wake up every single day and keep playing.

While I am writing this, my website is not completed yet, but sometimes I am getting this fear that “Am I doing this right? Or, Is it going to be enough?”.

You know, convincing yourself that you have enough (or in my opinion, you may have a lot of things more than enough) is not as easy as it looks like.

So, here’s a question for you: What actions or decisions are you making in your life right now that are driven by scarcity?
